TIMING AND SCHEDULING

The timing of services provided, including set-up and take-down, is critically important to the success of the party. For that reason, staff and equipment should arrive on site no later than 5:30 p.m. Set-up of tables, chairs, food, and musicians should be complete by 6:45 p.m. Valet parkers should also be ready to begin parking cars at 6:45 p.m.

The coat check is to be staffed continuously and carefully from 6:45 p.m. to 11:20 p.m. to ensure that all items checked are secure for the entire event and that all guests have an opportunity to retrieve their possessions before they leave.

After the party, initial clean-up of food items, plates, silverware, napkins, glasses, used and unused, and bagging of garbage should occur between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Take-down and removal of tables, chairs, plates, silverware, glasses, and any other equipment should occur between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. the following day, May 16, 2021, to avoid disturbing neighbors late at night.

All garbage will be removed, and disposed of appropriately, by “At Play.” The exact timing of the take-down and removal of these items may occur at the discretion of “At Play” within the specified 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. time frame. “At Play” staff will use discretion and courtesy in accommodating the needs of neighborhood residents in both set-up and take-down activities. At no time shall “At Play” trucks block any resident’s driveway or ability to move cars into and out of driveways.

PAYMENT

$800 is due at the signing of this contract; the second payment $800 is due at the conclusion of the party. Payment shall be by check.

BREACH OF CONTRACT

Because timing of the set-up and take-down of the food and equipment for the party is critical, deviation from the times specified in this agreement will be a breach of contract and half the fee will be forfeit.

In the event of theft from the coat check, a penalty of $200 for each instance will be deducted from the fee.
